Cost: June 20 through Labor Day: $2400/week. Early June and mid-September: $1900/week. We do not charge a separate/added cleaning fee.
Location: Indian Point, Georgetown, Maine. Located 1 hour north of Portland, Indian Point is a private 400 acre land preserve with 5 sandy beaches, majestic rocky coastline, wooded walking trails, tidal sand flats, and breathtaking views. It is a remote getaway, yet only 15 minutes from quaint Five Islands with its well-known lobster wharf, Reid State Park, and 25 minutes from historic Bath – with the world class Maine Maritime Museum, boutiques, and restaurants. L.L.Bean and Freeport outlet shopping is 45 minutes away. Close at hand there is an artist gallery, pottery studio, and a general store.
Details: Check in 3 PM; check out 10 AM. No parties/events, no smoking, no pets. Children welcome but no claim is made that the cottage is child-safe. 50% deposit required to book. Balance due 30 days prior to rental, plus $500 security deposit and 9% Maine state lodging tax. A sample of our rental agreement can be viewed here.
Provided: WiFi/Internet, stereo, linens, beach towels, beach chairs, binoculars, gas grill, two kayaks (use at your own risk), paddles, life jackets. Washer and dryer, laundry detergent, paper towels, toilet paper. Microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker, blender, lobster pot, dishes/utensils/pots/pans, pantry items. Dining chairs for six. No dishwasher. Games, puzzles, books, books for kids. No TV.
